I heard somebody ask a crowd recently what “engage” meant. I realized I had never really thought about it much, outside of when a couple of lovebirds goes to giddily size their rings. I listened intently for an answer. One man in the audience answered well; “It’s when multiple people get involved in the same thing.”
This site is for that: an opportunity to more fully engage.
In addition to the Book of James messages given each Sunday, we want to provide you with some helpful materials for further reflection, meditation and discussion. In other words, we want to provide more opportunities for engagement. Several times during the week, you will be invited to come here and read a brief bit of writing, or listen to a short recording, created by different leaders at Crosspointe, designed in the hopes that we’ll all more deeply dive into the Book of James throughout the week, finding its relevance in our own contexts, growing in our collective faith.
